If you want to cook eggs on your notebook this is the way to go. Don’t be stupid and put your poor laptop on a soft surface. You will insulate the heat, and smother the fans. I can’t believe they are selling this!

I am a writer, somewhat limited in terms of physical ability so am confined to my bed on a laptop for writing. My laptop desk is extremely important to me and this model is the worst I have ever used. I need one that would do exactly what this one promised. Comfort when locking in to the position that would be required for a few hours at a time and locking the computer securely to the top of the desk so it wouldn’t slide.
A big, fat F- on both. The sliding issue might be solved with some Rubbermaid between the two, but I am kind of tired of having to compensate for inferior products, no matter how inexpensive they are. In theory, this could have been a great thing. Evidently, the patent people at the LOC had to lay off too and the product testers were the first to go. Maybe they are the ones who liked this!

This notebook stand works well and does what we wanted it to do. The surface is firm so the laptop rests above the surface, allowing the PC fans to provide cooling. This works well when sitting in a chair or sofa. There really isn’t any space on the stand to use an external mouse, so we usually use the mouse on the arm of the chair or the palm rest of the laptop.
The two sides of the stand are not the same size, so if you have a larger laptop, you can flip the stand over for more space.
Bonus: This also works as a lap desk for writing.

The cushtop is excellent for holding laptop while seated in chair etc. I use in the livingroom while watching TV. Purachasing was easy and delivery time was quick. I would recoment this product to others.

I was looking for a thick, deep laptop cushion for my 17.3 inch laptop. This one is great. It fits the laptop perfectly (if you flip it over, it accommodates a 15 inch). There are no hard plastic surfaces, which is great. It’s comfortable on the lap and keeps it cool. The incline is perfect. It also serves me if I sit on the couch and decide to use the laptop on my ottoman – the boost up several inches is perfect. You can store the power cable through the opening in the middle. Two thumbs up.
