I know nothing about these products. However… it was a gift for my husband, picked out by my son, and they are all very happy with it!

I can’t add anything to these other reviews except that I just bought another one for my tool box at HomeDepot for $99. I still can’t believe it. They call it the 9690LR. I hope it is the 690 with a “9″ in front of it. I haven’t used it yet…but I’m really happy to at last fall into a bargain. Like they say on the RedGreen Show though: “I’m a man. I’m sorry. I can change. I guess.”
